2. Information You Choose to Publish

PersonaQuill allows you to create profiles that may be accessible through a public URL. If you choose to make information publicly available, that information may be viewed, copied, stored, indexed or otherwise accessed by third parties.

You should therefore avoid publishing information that you do not want to make publicly available, including passwords, financial information, private contact information, identification numbers or other sensitive information.

PersonaQuill cannot control what third parties may do with information that you intentionally publish publicly.

  • to create and manage your PersonaQuill account;
  • to authenticate users and maintain account security;
  • to create, display and maintain your profile;

4. PersonAI and AI-Generated Biographies

PersonAI is an AI-powered feature of PersonaQuill that transforms information contained in a user's profile into a chronological, storytelling-style biography.

When you use PersonAI, information from your PersonaQuill profile may be processed by the AI systems or service providers used to generate the biography. The information may include personal details, education, experiences, interests, projects, activities, achievements, dates and other information that you have entered into your profile.

PersonAI is intended to summarize and present information that you have provided. It is not intended to independently verify, authenticate or establish the truth of every statement contained in your profile or in the generated biography.

AI-generated content may contain mistakes, omissions, misunderstandings or inaccuracies. In particular, dates, chronological order, relationships between events and descriptions of experiences may not always be completely accurate.

A PersonAI biography should therefore not be treated as a verified historical record, official biography, professional credential, legal document or authoritative source of factual information.

Users and readers should consult the underlying PersonaQuill profile or other appropriate sources when accurate or verified information is required.

PersonAI does not make decisions about a person's eligibility, employment, education, creditworthiness, access to services or other legal or similarly significant matters. The feature is intended solely to generate and present biographical content.

5. AI Processing and Third-Party Providers

To provide PersonAI and other functionality, PersonaQuill may use third-party technology and service providers, including hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics and artificial intelligence providers.

Where a third-party provider processes personal information on our behalf, we take reasonable steps to require appropriate confidentiality, security and data protection obligations.

Depending on the services used, information processed by an AI provider may be transmitted to servers operated by that provider in jurisdictions outside your country or the European Economic Area. Where required by applicable data protection law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

We do not represent that every third-party service operates independently of its own privacy policies. You should review the relevant third-party privacy terms where appropriate.

6. AI Training

PersonaQuill does not intend to use your profile information or PersonAI biographies to train a general-purpose artificial intelligence model operated by PersonaQuill.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PersonaQuill and its related features and services, including PersonAI.

By creating an account, accessing a public profile, or otherwise using PersonaQuill, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You may use PersonaQuill only if you are legally permitted to do so under the laws applicable to you.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use PersonaQuill only with the involvement or consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide regarding your age and eligibility is accurate.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

You must not share your password with others or knowingly allow another person to access your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, you should notify PersonaQuill as soon as reasonably possible.

3. Your Content

You retain whatever ownership rights you have in the content and information that you submit to PersonaQuill.

By submitting content to PersonaQuill, you grant PersonaQuill a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, reproduce, process, display and transmit that content solely as necessary to operate, maintain and provide the services you request.

This includes processing your profile information in order to generate and display PersonAI biographies when the feature is used or enabled.

This license does not transfer ownership of your content to PersonaQuill.

4. Responsibility for Your Content

You are solely responsible for the information and content you submit to PersonaQuill.

You agree that information you provide should be accurate to the best of your knowledge and should not intentionally mislead, impersonate or defame another person.

You must have the necessary rights or permissions to upload, publish or otherwise use content that you submit to the platform.

You should not include confidential, sensitive or private information belonging to another person without an appropriate legal basis or permission.

5. Public Profiles

PersonaQuill may allow users to publish profiles through public URLs.

By choosing to make information public, you acknowledge that third parties may access and copy that information.

PersonaQuill does not guarantee that information published publicly can be prevented from being copied, indexed, archived or redistributed by third parties.

6. PersonAI

PersonAI is an AI-powered storytelling feature that generates a biographical narrative from information available in a PersonaQuill profile.

PersonAI may organize information chronologically and may create connections between different profile entries in order to produce a coherent biography.

AI-generated content is probabilistic and may contain errors, omissions, incorrect interpretations or inaccurate dates and timelines.

The presence of information in a PersonAI biography does not mean that PersonaQuill has independently verified that information.

PersonAI biographies should not be relied upon as the sole source for factual, legal, academic, employment, professional or historical decisions.

Where accuracy is important, users and readers should consult the underlying PersonaQuill profile and, where appropriate, independent sources.

7. No Guarantee of AI Accuracy

PERSONAI IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. PERSONAQUILL DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, CURRENT, UNBIASED OR ERROR-FREE.

In particular, PersonAI may incorrectly interpret information, omit relevant information, combine events incorrectly, assign an incorrect chronological order, or generate wording that does not perfectly reflect the information contained in the profile.

Users remain responsible for reviewing information they publish and for correcting or removing inaccurate profile information.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use PersonaQuill to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • impersonate another person or organization;
  • publish knowingly false or fraudulent information;
  • harass, threaten, abuse or defame others;
  • publish another person's private or confidential information without authorization;
  • infringe intellectual property or other rights;
  • upload malicious software or harmful code;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems;
  • interfere with or disrupt the operation of the platform;
  • use automated methods to abuse, overload or circumvent platform restrictions;
  • scrape or systematically collect information in violation of applicable law or these Terms; or
  • use PersonaQuill for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

9. Intellectual Property

PersonaQuill, including its software, design, branding, logos, interfaces, original text, graphics and other platform materials, is owned by or licensed to PersonaQuill unless otherwise stated.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of PersonaQuill's intellectual property.

PersonaQuill, PersonAI and associated names, logos and branding may not be used in a manner that suggests endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation without permission.

10. Third-Party Services

PersonaQuill may rely on third-party providers for infrastructure, hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, analytics, artificial intelligence processing and other technical services.

The availability or functionality of these third-party services may affect PersonaQuill. We do not guarantee the uninterrupted availability or continued operation of any third-party service.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Availability and Changes to the Service

PersonaQuill is provided on an evolving basis. We may modify, add, suspend or discontinue features, including PersonAI, at any time where reasonably necessary for technical, operational, security, legal or business reasons.

We do not guarantee that PersonaQuill will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

12. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that the account or its use violates these Terms, applicable law, security requirements or the rights of others.

We may also suspend access where necessary to investigate security incidents, abuse or other potentially harmful activity.

You may stop using PersonaQuill at any time and may request deletion of your account in accordance with the applicable procedures.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PersonaQuill is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the service will meet every user's requirements, operate without interruption, remain available indefinitely, or be free from errors or security vulnerabilities.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PersonaQuill shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service.

This includes, where permitted by law, losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated content, inaccuracies in profiles, unauthorized copying of publicly available information, interruptions of service or failures of third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold PersonaQuill harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of another person.

16. Privacy

Your use of PersonaQuill is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is processed and protected.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which PersonaQuill's operator is established, subject to any mandatory consumer protection or other applicable legal provisions.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive consumers of rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
